Wine Reviews: Mini Round-Up for August 12, 2024

.I sample a bunch-o-wine (technical term for more than the majority of people). So every week, I share a few of my red or white wine reviews (primarily from samples) and sampling keep in minds in a "mini-review" style. 2020 CVNE 'Cune' Ecologico-- Organic (Rioja): Cooked red fruit, spice, luxurious texture, as well as never-let-me-down consistency. $17 B+.

2022 Raeburn High Flier Chardonnay (Russian River Lowland): A crowd-pleasing (and quite lengthy!) assortment of [extremely] ripe pear, baked apple, vanilla, tribute, &amp nectarines. $30 A-.
2022 Raeburn 'Higher Flier' Pinot Noir (Russian River Lowland): Hitting all the appropriate notes here: promising &amp gorgeous red berry fruit, rhubarb, lumber flavors, &amp a herbal tea leaf finish. $thirty three A-.
2022 Merry Edwards Coopersmith Pinot Noir (Russian Waterway Valley): Telling you why you fell in love with RRV Pinot initially. Dark, delicious, structured, and also at turns, scrumptious &amp. $70 A.
2011 Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Reddish Blend (Columbia Valley): Chewy, earthy, weighty, great smoky, and yeah, still fruity! $NA B+.
